Leyna Belcher

Leyna Belcher, DNP-C, MSN, RN, CCDS, CCDS-O Clinical Content Manager at Accuity, in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. With more than a decade of experience in CDI, implementing successful inpatient and outpatient CDI programs. CDI improvement is a passion of Leyna’s and she has implemented several projects to better improve quality and accuracy within medical record documentation for enhanced revenue cycles. Collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team departments, Leyna has launched proven education strategies and coordinated efforts to ensure documentation reflects utilized resources and maximizes the care continuum. She has served on the ACDIS Furthering Education Committee as a tenured member as well as spoken at several National Conferences and published in multiple CDI journals. Leyna has a servant leadership mentality and advocates for bettering the CDI world through engagement and education in various platforms.

Mary McGrady

Mary has over 25 years of health care experience, including nursing and consulting. She has spent the past 14 years dedicated to CDI. In her role as VP CDI at Accuity Healthcare, she has had the opportunity to partner with over 400 hospitals in retrospective CDI work. Mary has been in a unique position to learn a variety of hospital’s approach to CDI.  Under Mary’s leadership, the Accuity CDI team has grown tremendously with over 100 CDI query writers delivering compliant queries for clients.   Prior to joining Accuity Healthcare Mary worked as a CDI Director at a large academic medical center in NYC.  She has also spoken at ACDIS national conference and ACDIS local chapter meetings, as well as NYHIMA.
